Kyle and Malinda are an award-winning veteran cosplay duo crafting full-time for their own business: Turtle Smithy.
As professional cosplayers with more than 20 years of experience each, they are well-rounded in various techniques, including sewing, wig styling, leatherwork, prop/armor fabrication, and more!

Turtle Smithy
Propmaker and Leathersmith
Kyle's skills earned him the honor of being the very first C2E2 Crown Champion of Cosplay in 2014. His specialties are leather and fabrication techniques, but he also has many years of experience in sewing and pattern drafting. He has traveled as an educator and craftsmanship judge at several events over the years. At home, Kyle creates cosplay accessories full-time for his Etsy shop.

Weaver and Wigmancer
Malinda especially loves sewing and wig styling, and you might be familiar with the numerous tutorials she created while she was the house stylist for Arda Wigs. Thanks to her clean craftsmanship and experience as a cosplay educator, she’s been invited as a guest speaker and contest judge internationally.
